We can give advice on all aspects of physical security. Officers
are able to carry out (free-of-charge) a security survey of your
premises and recommend measures to improve the security of
premises, people and possessions.

Designing out crime
The Force Community Safety Branch are able to assist in the
designing out of crime. This is achieved by providing planners,
architects and designers with free, up-to-date and impartial advice
on incorporating crime prevention measures into buildings and other
construction projects. This work is led by the
Crime Prevention Design Advisor.

Contingency planning
This is designed to maximise business resilience to terrorist
bombings. We can provide guidance to help private sector companies
draw up their own local contingency plans to facilitate business
recovery or to improve plans which already exist.

Organising events
The City of London Police aim to improve dialogue with protest
groups in advance and where possible, to gain a better
understanding of the intent of the protesters and the nature of the
protest activity. If consultation takes place the Police and
Organiser(s) can agree how best to facilitate the protest and to
ensure a proportionate policing response.
