Police appeal after attack on
149 bus driver
City of London Police is appealing to the public to help them
identify a man suspected of assaulting a bus driver.
The man had pressed the emergency alarm in an effort to leave
the bus ahead of its scheduled stop. When this failed to open the
doors he punched the bus driver in the face, breaking his nose.
The incident took place on the 149 ‘bendy’ bus just after
midnight (12:20am) on Friday night / Saturday morning 27th
February. The man boarded the bus at Dalston Junction, before
getting off at Bishopsgate.
