City of London Corporation remove tents from St Paul’s Churchyard

Bailiffs employed by City of London Corporation have removed tents and equipment from St Paul’s Churchyard, in line with a High Court order.

The operation was largely peaceful.

City of London Police officers have been in attendance, supported by Metropolitan Police, to ensure public safety.

A small minority of protestors obstructed the work of bailiffs. Police made 23 arrests (as of 9.00am).
