Annual Report 2008-2009
The current annual report covers the period from 1 April 2008 to
31 March 2009. It is an overview of the Force's achievements for
the past financial year.
The report reflects a period of transformation undergone by the
force over the past 12 months. A restructure of the wards policing
teams has enabled the force to target the right resources to
specific areas within the City, including piloting a business
policing team located within the Broadgate estate. As lead force in
economic crime, work is now firmly underway establishing a fraud
reporting centre and intelligence bureau, which will be launched
nationally early next year.
Published 16 July 2009, a hard copy of the report is circulated
to the City of London Common Council, Home Office and other
Government ministers and CEOs of the major organisations within the
City. The report is available to everyone electronically. It also
available as an audiotape or in Braille and can be translated upon
request.
