Initiatives
Making sure that everyone who lives, works or
travels through the City has a say in how our area is policed. That
is the ethos at the heart of Safer City Wards, and the standards we
aim to deliver in achieving this can be found in
our pledge to the public.
The community must feel confident in getting
involved and influencing police and partner priorities and
activities in their area. What a local shopkeeper or other small
business owner needs from us and how it suits them to tell us about
their concerns can be very different from the needs and way of
working of a multinational bank.
