The head of the City of London Police traditionally holds the rank of Commissioner. With the exception of the Metropolitan Police Service, which has its own Commissioner, all other UK police forces have a Chief Constable at their head.

Next in the leadership structure is the Assistant Commissioner. Alistair Sutherland succeeded Wayne Chance as Assistant Commissioner of the City of London Police in April 2016.

The Commander is the third tier in our leadership structure. Richard Woolford succeeded Wayne Chance as Commander for the City of London Police in January 2016. He is responsible for the force's key strategic operational requirements.

National Coordinator for Economic Crime
Commander Greany succeeded Steve Head as the National Coordinator for Economic Crime in September 2015. Commander Greany is also a Trustee of the Police Dependents Trust.
