Find out below which changes should be reported, how soon to report them, and who to report them to.
I'd like to report a change to my residential address
You'll need to book an appointment through your online account to attend the Overseas Visitors Records Office (OVRO).
You must do this within seven days of the change. We’ll make this change free of charge.
We're working on updating the portal so that in the future you'll be able to report a change of address to any police station in London, but currently you must do this in person at the OVRO.
Please note: This change only refers to a change of residential address from one London address to another London address.
If you're already registered with another force and are moving into London
You'll need to register with us. You should create a new account via the online portal. When you create your account, select 'Transfer in' and not 'New registration'.
You'll then need to make an appointment to attend the OVRO and complete the process.
Go to our online portal to create your account with London.
