Action Fraud NECVCU Service Development Manager

Action Fraud, at its core, provides a unique crime recording service which is available online and over the phone through a team of fraud specialists based in Scotland. The operational delivery of Action Fraud is managed through a third party organisation and led by the Action Fraud team at the NFIB.

The Service Development Manager’s role oversees the programme of work to enhance the end-to-end service, in particular the Action Fraud National Economic Crime Victim Care Unit (AF NECVCU) , working closely with internal and external stakeholders.

The AF NECVCU Service & Development Manager’s role is responsible for the management and development of the AF NECVCU to deliver the support to vulnerable victims reporting to Action Fraud. The role requires delivery of this project in support of the Action Fraud service to victims of fraud and cybercrime within agreed parameters, providing support and guidance as appropriate to project managers internally.

This new post is an exciting opportunity for anyone who wants to make a difference at a national level and that can work with stakeholders and partners to further role the service out and improve satisfactions for victims of Economic Crime in the UK.

Qualifications

Desirable

  • Project Management Qualification or willing to work toward such.
  • Prince 2 practitioner trained, or a good track record of delivering projects.

Skills

  • Proven Leadership skills

Desirable

  • Project Management Skills

Experience

Essential

  • Sound and strong background of victim care in a Criminal Justice setting
  • Proven track record in change management programmes
  • Understanding of the crime recording and investigative process.
  • Ability to analyse information and make assessment based on this.

· Proven track record of managing small or large teams of people successfully

Desirable

  • An understanding of the Action Fraud and NFIB service.
  • An understanding of fraud and cybercrime.
