HR Business Partner

The City of London Police have an exciting opportunity for a HR Professional looking to develop their career in Business Partnering.

The successful candidate will be the HR Business Partner led for two diverse Directorates and will report into the Head of HR.

This role will suit applicants who have experience in Workforce Planning in a fast paced environment, supporting line management in managing their people resources, dealing with high volume Recruitment, supporting Organisational Change, and managing complex Employment relations cases. Ideally it would be beneficial to have a policing background.

This is a fast paced role and the duties match this, from dealing with day to day HR matters to more strategic issues, you will be required to build good working relationships within the client departments and be the integral link between them and HR Services.

To be successful in this role, you must have a proven track record as a HR specialist and ideally be a graduate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD) or equivalent. Your ability to work without supervision and using your own initiative together with excellent communication skills will be an asset.

This will be a busy yet varied role in which the ability to organise, prioritise and work to deadlines is essential.
