Learning and Development Office Manager

Learning and Development (L&D) is responsible for maintaining the training of staff in the City of London Police by delivering high quality, relevant and effective training. L&D believe that training defines CoLP capacity to deliver an exceptional policing service.

Working within a highly motivated team as the Office Manager, reporting to the Deputy Head of Training, your skills could help contribute towards meeting our objectives by providing an excellent level of management to an effective and established administrative support team. You will provide an effective operational support to L&D and a professional service to the staff of CoLP.

Key requirements

You will possess excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels with both internal and external customers and stakeholders.  Working with minimum supervision, you will have proven administrative skills together with excellent planning and organising skills and the ability to work effectively in a pressurised environment. Good IT skills, particularly knowledge of working on a database or case management system are important, as well as experience of complex diary management, accurate minute taking and Freedom on Information Act requests.
