Output co-ordinator

The Outputs Coordinator is responsible for the co-ordination of the dissemination of ECD products to stakeholders within law enforcement and industry partnerships. They also obtain, collate, and assess feedback from those stakeholders to provide tasking recommendations for further work or qualitative change and improvement.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinate the dissemination of City of London Police crime and intelligence products to stakeholders

• Maintain distribution lists of stakeholders to reflect product types and thematic content, and the businesses interest, or sector, of the intended reader

• Identify new stakeholders and partners, while developing and maintaining positive relationships with existing stakeholders

• Coordinate disseminations in line with individual campaigns, while cultivating suitable audience development strategies

• Facilitate the collection of feedback from stakeholders and recipients in order to identify and implement the continuous review and improvement of products

• Assist to promote a culture of continual development including the provision of high quality and timely advice and guidance to internal and external stakeholders on all dissemination matters

MANDATORY DUTIES

Actively seek to implement the City of London’s and City of London Police Occupational Health and Safety Policy in relation to the duties of the post, and at all times give due regard to the health and safety of both themselves and others when carrying out their duties.

To undertake any other duties that may reasonably be requested appropriate to the grade.

SELECTION CRITERIA

Skills

1. Excellent planning and organisational skills

2. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

3. High degree of flexibility in moving between tasks and roles as business priorities dictate

4. Ability to communicate at all levels, within and outside of the organisation

5. Good level of IT skills, including MS Word and Excel, with the ability to learn new software quickly

6. Highly developed oral and written communication skills including an ability to maintain attention to detail

7. Demonstrated experience managing internal and external clients

8. Ability to deal tactfully, discretely and effectively with both internal and external customers at all levels

Knowledge

1. Knowledge of processes to quality assure products prior to dissemination is desirable

2. Knowledge of NIM products is desirable

Experience

1. Proven experience of processing information in a prompt and efficient manner to precise deadlines

2. Experience of managing the coordination and dissemination of material to a broad range of recipients, ideally within a police/law enforcement environment, is desirable.
