Project Coordinator - ECD

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Co-Coordinator to work with the Economic Crime Academy in delivering a range of training related projects.

To assist the project manager to provide structured management and coordinate key activities relating to the governance and delivery of projects related to the Economic Crime Academy through the Lloyds sponsorship agreement. To support all aspects of the projects including implementation, finance, coordination and provide regular project and budget monitoring information.

Selection Criteria


  • Literacy and numeracy skills to fulfil the duties of the role
  • Ability to work effectively as a team member and build excellent working     relationships.
  • Excellent administration and organisation skills with an ability to meet strict deadlines and prioritise own workload.
  • Working knowledge of project management methodologies
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision in a pressurised environment.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels, within and outside the organisation.
  • High level of IT skills, including MS Word and Excel, with the ability to learn new software quickly.  
  • An understanding of Prince2 methodology
  • Previous experience of working in a projects environment would be an advantage
  • Experience of collating and presenting data
  • Previous experience of producing project plans and documentation an advantage


  • Knowledge of the subject area would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of the structure and function of Police Organisations
  • An understanding of MS Project
  • Knowledge of Visio an advantage
