Action Fraud – Senior Digital Manager

1. Raise awareness of fraud and cybercrime, the risks and emerging issues and threats by developing strategies for PR/marketing and targeted publicity campaigns, locally, regionally and nationally.

2. Develop strategies for the use of on line and off line communications, digital communications, social media and the Action Fraud website in order to generate publicity, information and awareness of fraud and cybercrime in the UK.

3. Increase awareness of the services offered by Action Fraud/NFIB by providing a clear strategic direction for the Action Fraud brand and all accompanying communications activities by developing, writing and managing the Action Fraud communications plan and channel strategy.

4. Ownership and management of the Action Fraud Digital and Social Media Strategy to improve the visibility and availability of Action Fraud digital services.

5. Develop robust monitoring, reporting and evaluation of all digital activity and proactively share this information with colleagues to inform improvements.

6. Lead on work to improve the victim journey so that Action Fraud and NFIB services deliver appropriate content, in the right place, via the right media at the right time.

7. Identify ways to capture, utilise and share the insight of individuals and organisations who use Action Fraud in order to improve their experience of it and increase the use of the services offered to report, raise awareness of and reduce the risk of fraud and cybercrime.

8. Manage the procurement process for appointing any agencies to deliver PR/marketing services, and ensure services delivered are appropriate and of a high quality.

9. Support and line manage the Service Development Officer.

10. Maximise the use of resources managed to deliver value for money services within budget and meet strategic business objectives.

11. Act as a senior representative of Action Fraud at relevant internal boards/ steering groups and external meetings where expertise on the publicising and raising awareness of crime, the marketing and promotion of Action Fraud/NFIB, customer strategies or strategic communications is required and contribute to a range of wider organisational initiatives and programmes of work as appropriate.

12. Championing innovation in service delivery, making effective use of opportunities provided by new technology.

13. Generate publicity and deliver business outcomes through identification and engagement with appropriate stakeholders.

14. Managing online development projects and supplier relationships, ensuring that all work is consistently delivered to a high standard, on time and within budget.

15. Increasing visibility of the Action Fraud website and driving traffic through implementing, monitoring and adjusting Search Engine Optimisation techniques.
