Support Officer NFIB AV

The National Fraud Intelligence Bureau/Action Fraud is hosted by the City of London Police and has the Information Hub/BDT Unit sited within it. This busy and hardworking unit handles both outward and inward looking enquiries from victims of fraud, police officers, businesses and staff.

The Role

You will play an important role in answering concerns raised by victims of fraud who have recorded their loss or intelligence on Action Fraud, a national fraud reporting tool. You will also play a part in assisting NFIB/Action Fraud staff with regard to various administrative functions such as accommodation, stakeholder engagement, diary management and other office processes as advised by the Office Manager.

Key requirements

You will possess excellent planning and organising skills, together with the ability to work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines. You will be required to have a good level of IT skills particularly Microsoft Office suite, with the ability to learn new IT systems and platforms for which training will be given. A useful attribute would be the ability to draft correspondence to external customers to a good standard.
