In the four year period since Project Servator launched in February 2014, officers have carried out nearly 1,000 searches during Servator deployment duties.

Total searches – 938

February 1 2014 – December 31 2017

(A search is considered successful if it results in either an arrest of an on-street drugs warning.)

  • Drug warnings – 174
  • Searches under Section 1, Police And Criminal Evidence Act (PACE) – 264
  • Searches under Section 23, Misuse of Drugs Act – 672
  • Searches under Section 43, Terrorism Act – 2
  • Vehicles seized – 233
  • Positive – 594 (64% success rate)
  • Arrests – 547

Of the arrests the most prolific has been drug dealing (150), mainly Class A but also Class B. The drugs seized include – Amphetamine, LSD, Cannabis, Cocaine, Methamphetamine, MDMA and Heroin.

Other offences detected during deployments which have resulted in arrest include: robbery, international arrest warrants, various offensive weapons and bladed articles, fraud, theft and firearms.​
