Vulnerable Victim Advocate

Nobody wants to be a victim of crime but most of us will be at some time in our lives, or know someone who has. The City of London Police, working with the national charity Victim Support, offer support services to vulnerable and intimidated victims and witnesses.

The Vulnerable Victims Advocate, Ayesha Fordham provides a free, confidential and independent service, providing the individual with emotional and practical support to help them address their needs and work through their experience. She has experience working with men, women and children who have been victims of all crime types, with specific experience of supporting victims of domestic abuse, sexual violence and hate crime. She works with individuals on a one-to-one basis, but can also work in groups when appropriate. Ayesha has access to a number of outreach sites across the City of London and is able to meet the individual at a location convenient and safe for them.

Ayesha works closely with the City of London Police and other relevant support organisations to ensure that victims are receiving efficient and specialist support.

When working with the force, Ayesha will be based with the Public Protection Unit.

Ayesha Fordham can be contacted in confidence on 07944 634946 or call the Victim Support 24 hour helpline on 0808 1689 111.
