A misconduct hearing concluded on the 5 June 2024 in relation to allegations that Jason Bullock, a now former Police Constable at the City of London Police, breached standards of professional behaviour.
The hearing panel determined that the officer while ‘off duty’ in a licenced premises within the City of London, inappropriately touched a woman without her permission.
The misconduct panel found that the dishonesty allegation amounted to gross misconduct. The panel also found that the allegation of inappropriate touching amounted to misconduct.
He was dismissed from the force without notice and his name will be placed on the barred list held by the College of Policing.
Detective Superintendent and Head of Professional Standards Department Carly Humphreys said:
“The findings of the misconduct panel relate to serious allegations dating back to last year, that Mr Bullock breached our standards of professional behaviour in Honesty and Integrity and Discreditable Conduct.”
“Trust and confidence in policing is essential. We take every action necessary to maintain our professional standards and expect all officers and staff to serve with honesty and integrity.
“The behaviours and actions evidenced in this hearing will not be tolerated by the City of London Police, and Mr Bullock will now be added to the police barred list, preventing him from ever working in policing again."
