Officers from the City of London Police are appealing to the public for help in identifying a man involved in two random attacks in the City of London.
The first assault took place in Fen Court, EC3, on Thursday 4 November 2021 at approximately 15:25hrs. The suspect approached a member of the public, who was walking home from work and unprovoked punched him in the face.
The suspect then made his way to Mincing Lane, EC3, where he attacked another member of the public at approximately 15:40hrs before making off in the direction of Plantation Lane, Rood, Lane and East Cheap, and was last seen on St George’s Lane.
Both victims received facial injuries and were left shaken.
PC Aimee Tuppen-Griffiths, from the City of London Police said:
“We are asking members of the public to come forward to help us identify the man in this image, whose actions have left two innocent people with facial injuries.
“The man is described as a white male, in his twenties, of medium build with scruffy brown hair, approximately 5 foot 6 or 7
“If anyone has any information, or recognises the man, please contact City of London Police, quoting crime reference 21*642966.”
